AICTE AND ISTE:Need for Greater Linkages

The AICTE Act came into force in December 1987. This was enacted by the Parliament with a view to proper planning and coordinated development of technical education system throughout the country, the promotion of quality and the regulation and proper maintenance of norms and standards in the system.
