This paper reveals that the schemes of National Small Scale Industries Limited (NSIC) and its salient features/ benefits to Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India. This is a descriptive study. The important schemes are market support, material sourcing support, B2B portal, credit support, financing assistance, buyer and seller meet etc. Secondary data has been used. The practices that are followed by Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) are referred. The various approaches that are practiced by NSIC also brought out in this paper. Further empirical study is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of each schemes. The paper also suggests the direction for further study.Keywords

This research paper focuses on the key challenges faced by companies during the Covid-19 era. The author has highlighted the supply chain challenges faced by the companies are: supply shocks, demand shocks, aftershocks and new normal. Paradigm shift in the consumer behaviour also discussed with 3Ps (price, promotion and portfolio). Secondary data and expert opinions were gathered and discussed. The author has selected three aggregator businesses i.e taxi aggregator business, food chain aggregator business and agricultural produce aggregator business for discussion. In this context companies like Uber, Ola, Fast Track Taxi, Zomato, Swiggy, Dunzo, ITC, Abiona, MyVishwa Technologies and Ninjacart and their business practices are also discussed. Business leaders’ opinions and the studies conducted by BCG, PWC, KPMG and Accenture are also highlighted. This paper also explains the demand planning during uncertain times. Technology is the key to manage the business in short run. The importance of Machine Learning (ML) & Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Predictive Analysis are also discussed.Keywords

Supply disruption plays a great role in the business of the firm. Over the last few years we have seen major incidents (disruptions) that have affected the supply chains of major global manufacturers, but what is becoming increasingly significant to these manufacturers is the need for access to real-time supply chain visibility. This paper reveals the classifications of supply disruptions and its impact on their business growth, strategies, market share and financial results of the company. This paper also focuses the supply chain disruptions in the future due to Internet of Things (IOT),applications of smartdevices, use of mobile technology, quick response- last mile delivery, competition between supply chains, price cut strategies, product availability, managing demand variability and product recalls. Examples such as automobile cars recalls, and packaged food products recalls were also emphasized. The discussion is of qualitative nature covering supply chain disruptions and its impact on business.
