INFORMATION STUDIES, published four times a year in January, April, July and October, is sponsored by the Ranganathan Centre for Information Studies (RCIS), Bengaluru, PES University, Bengaluru (PESU) and Board for IT Education Standards, Bengaluru (BITES). INFORMATION STUDIES publishes original articles in all areas of information science, information technology, information architecture, informatics, and knowledge and information management, covering theoretical, technical, practical, economic, social, political and professional aspects of the creation, processing, management and consumption of information resources as well as education for the information management profession. In addition to full articles and short papers, the periodical carries news about RCIS as well as international news from the field of information apart from book reviews and relevant notices.
