Objectives: This study was conducted to clarify the relationship among participation motivation, game immersion, and exercise performance for golf players and to provide fundamental resources that are helpful in improving performance by maximizing game immersion and exercising performance. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability verification, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted on 225 golf players and the following conclusions were drawn. Findings: First of all, participation motivation for golf players was positively correlated with cognitive immersion and behavioral immersion as sub-variables of game immersion. In addition, participation motivation was positively correlated with personal performance, team performance, and ability utilization as sub-variables of exercising performance. Secondly, according to the identification of the influence of participation motivation on cognitive immersion and behavioral immersion, internal satisfaction, social recognition, and adding values had positive influences on the two variables. Third, according to the identification of the influence of participation motivation on personal performance, team performance, and ability utilization, internal satisfaction, social recognition, and adding values had positive influences. Application/Improvement: Considering the limitations of this study, a followup study is recommended to evaluate more developmental outcomes. First of all, this study was limited in scope to college golf players. Therefore, a follow-up study is expected to include golf players in middle/high school and college and also adult players. Secondly, seeing as how there has recently been an increase in the number of golf players, a follow-up study is expected to include potential user classes. Keywords

Objectives: We conducted this study to clarify the practical relationship between selection property, satisfaction, and the behavioral intention of sport event spectators. Methods/Statistical Analysis: The subjects of this study were 216 spectators of basketball games and volleyball games held by local communities in 2015, to which we distributed survey copies. For the data process, we conducted exploratory factor analysis, reliability verification, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis; and drew the following conclusions: Findings: First of all, the selection property of sports event spectators represented a positive correlation on all the satisfaction and sub-variables of behaviors, and satisfaction positively correlated with all the sub-variables of behavioral intention. Secondly, the opening environment among the selection properties positively influenced satisfaction. Third, the game environment and opening environment from the selection property positively influenced the intention to revisit and recommend. Fourth, satisfaction positively influenced the intention to revisit and recommend. Application/Improvement: Our conclusions indicate that sports events held by local communities require detailed marketing strategies, since the opening environment positively influences spectator satisfaction. In addition, satisfaction directly influences spectator behavioral intention. Therefore, an effort is required to improve the satisfaction of audiences, so that they will revisit, and recommend others to visit as well. On the other hand, we recommend a follow-up study to analyze more detailed difference of demographic characteristics, and seek a marketing strategy for them to achieve a better developmental outcome. Keywords

Objectives: This study was conducted to identify the relationship among the motivation for visitation, image, and participation satisfaction for foreign participants in the international Taekwondo events. Methods/Statistical Analysis: The survey was conducted on foreign participants in the international Taekwondo events and exploratory factor analysis, reliability verification, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed on 396 subjects. Findings: The following conclusion was derived from the analysis. First of all, cultural experience and sociality were positively correlated with the dynamic image, emotional image, transportation convenience satisfaction, information guidance satisfaction, and event operation satisfaction. Occasional getaways were positively correlated with the dynamic image, emotional image, transportation convenience satisfaction, and information guidance satisfaction. Secondly, cultural experience and sociality positively influenced the dynamic image, while cultural experience, occasional getaways, and sociality positively influenced the emotional image. Third, sociality positively influenced transportation convenience satisfaction, and the experience of culture, occasional getaways, and sociality positively influenced information guidance satisfaction. Cultural experience and sociality positively influenced the event operation satisfaction, while occasional getaways negatively influenced the event operation satisfaction. Application /Improvement: Since this study was conducted only on foreign participants in international Taekwondo events, it is difficult to generalize the results. In addition, since the survey copies were only translated into English, Chinese, and Russian, there were some difficulties with providing interpretations for foreign participants with other mother languages. Therefore, it is still necessary to translate the copies into more languages to collect more detailed opinions based on accurate understanding of the questionnaires. Keywords

Background/Objectives: This research aims to examine the correlation between peer relationships and academic attitude of the soccer players. Methods/Statistical Analysis: The research hypotheses regarding the direction to take to achieve the right academic attitude through peer relationships with average students other than soccer players are as follows: First, there will be a correlation between peer relationships and the academic attitude of the soccer players. Second, the peer relationships of the soccer players will affect their academic attitude. The target of the research was 181 middle school male soccer players in the Honam area. For data processing we used exploratory factor analysis, a reliability test, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis and the results are as follows. Findings: First, for the relationship between peer relationships and academic attitudes, interest in class had positive correlations with position among peers, degree of interest and socialization with peers. Class concentration and learning in class had positive correlations with position among peers, degree of interest and emotion with peers. Also, class accomplishments had positive correlations with position among peers and degree of interest. Second, in the peer relationship, position among peers and degree of interest had a positive effect on the interest in class, class concentration and class accomplishments. But for learning in class, only degree of interest had a positive effect. Novelty/Improvement: We can conclude that for the middle school soccer players, peer relationships with average students have a positive effect on their academic attitudes. Therefore, to make soccer players have the right academic attitude, we need to encourage them to have good peer relationships with average students. Also, for the further improvement of the research, instead of limiting the target to middle school students the sampling should be expanded to high school and college. Keywords

Background/Objectives: This research aims to provide data helping self-management and stress-coping through marine sports by empirically investigating the relationship between self-management and stress-coping of participants in marine sports. Methods/Statistical Analysis: This research was conducted on 277 club members participating in marine sports in Seoul, Ansan, Seosan, and Gunsan. The collected data reached the following final conclusions, by drawing upon correlation and multiple regression analysis with factor extraction and verified validity and reliability. Findings: First, of the self-management of participants in marine sports, mind-management has a significant relationship with problemfocused coping, social support seeking, and aesthetic thinking. This indicates that higher levels of mind-management among participants in marine sports lead to higher problem-focused coping, social support seeking, and aesthetic thinking. Second, of self-management of participants in marine sports, mind-management, interpersonal-management, and physical-management have significant relationships with emotional coping. This indicates that higher levels of mind-management, interpersonal-management, and physical-management of participants in marine sports lead to higher emotional coping. Several problems revealed by this research and suggestions for future research are presented here. Novelty/Improvement: This study is limited to participants in marine sports, the conclusions should be verified by extending this effort to diverse subjects. Second, this research is focused on the relationships between factors, which makes it difficult to compare basic characteristics. For further research, a prerequisite would be to analyze the characteristics of participants as well as the relationships between factors. Keywords
