Coverage plays a major role in energy consumption model of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). Energy efficient coverage of the targets becomes one of the challenging problems in WSN, because of low-energy, low processing of the nodes. In this paper target coverage had been addressed; monitoring the specific target with the set of sensors. In order to have an energy efficient coverage, it is necessary to select the node which detects target within a particular accuracy gain value. In this paper, we first randomly deployed the nodes and select the nodes which are eligible to cover the target with desired information gain value. Energy conservation is achieved through activating only the eligible nodes.
