Objectives: To determine the criteria to follow for the implementation of a SCADA system in the design of an intelligent micro-grid. Methods/Analysis: Through this development some problems have been evidenced to maintain the control and communication in the interaction of each one of the elements that intervene in the network. For this reason it is intended to design a SCADA system for the control and communication of each one of the elements that intervene there in order to mitigate the problems evidenced. Findings: Obviously the issue concerning the optimization of energy resources to reduce the negative impact on the environment is an imperative parameter that every developed country should have and is a determining factor to ensure both the economic sustainability and the social and environmental well-being of a country. Improvements: This is how automation and control allows a network to be intelligent so that said network can optimize energy resources with quality.
