A comparative analysis of types of analysis technique, intermediate tools support and various artifacts taken as objects is discussed. The analysis is done on the basis of methodologies used which may be a great help for future researchers. They can consider the combination of objects and apply information retrieval, text processing techniques. Application/Improvements: The change impact analysis helps to estimate testing effort and maintenance cost because testing of the whole system may cost higher.
