Background/Objective: Till now most of the research works of wireless body area network have focused on only the function and services of the tire-1 and tier-2 nodes and very less amount of focus given to the message communication and data exchange of the psychological values of human body. As there is always an increase of population and so growing demand of people, after some extent the server will become overloaded. So, to reduce the server load, our paper is focusing on the processing of huge amount of data by the server cluster instead of a single server. The two most important requirements for extremely sensitive Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) data transmission are fault tolerance and consistency. In this paper, we have also proposed a cluster head based fault tolerance mechanism for WBAN. Methods/ Analysis: In this approach multiple sensor nodes in a single WBAN are connected to their individual Cluster Head (CH). Each cluster head can communicate with other cluster heads of other WBANs. Each cluster head is connected to a Local Area Network Gateway (LANG) and finally it is connected to Healthcare Server (HS). Each local sensor collects the fault related information and each node is assigned with priority to measure the fault tolerant level of individual nodes. Nodes with high priority are processed first. Applications/Improvements: The proposed feature can be adopted by the proposed central mediator system model that sits between the personal terminal/client and information center/server. As per the architecture of the multithreaded wireless body area network, the central mediator system should be designed to have a good transparency level, high performance and reliability to make a greater platform for the remote medical monitoring
