Exogenous application of different concentrations of IAA, IBA, NAA, 2,4-D and thiamine wasw tried to propagate vegetatively the three valuable fodder tree species (viz. Ficus roxburghii, F.cunia and F.gibbosa) of Himalayan farm forestry system. Significant ischolar_maining of branch cuttings was achieved in the lower concentrations of IBA and IAA (100ppm) after 12 weeks of treatment. The application of lower concentrations of auxins have also favoured the number of sprouts and number of lateral ischolar_mains in all the three species, whereas, the ischolar_main length was prolific in lower concentrations of IBA, IAA (Ficus roxburghii and Ficus cunia) and 2,4-D and thiamine (Ficus gibbosa).
