Propagation of Cupressus Cashmiriana Royle and Cryptomeria Japonlca, Don by Stem Cuttings

A trial was undertaken to study the relation between age and ischolar_maining of Cupressus cashmiriana Royle, and Cryptomeria japonica Don. The definite effect of age of the shoot on ischolar_mainability in both the species was notices. In case of Cupressus best result was obtained from the cutting of juvenile seedlings and in case of Cryptomeria from the cuttings of young shoots of mature trees.
