The home of savagery is the forest and that of civilization is the modern man. Savagery and civilization cannot go hand in hand unless a happy medium of compromise between the two is established. For centuries humanity wedded to progress and culture has been at war with wilderness. In this long lingering struggle, forests have constantly borne the onslaught with their backs to the wall. A truce-royal is urgently needed. The goose that lays the golden egg may not be slain.

Abstract

The home of savagery is the forest and that of civilization is the modern man. Savagery and civilization cannot go hand in hand unless a happy medium of compromise between the two is established. For centuries humanity wedded to progress and culture has been at war with wilderness. In this long lingering struggle, forests have constantly borne the onslaught with their backs to the wall. A truce-royal is urgently needed. The goose that lays the golden egg may not be slain.
