Knowledge Management is the process through which organizations generate value from their intellectual and knowledge-based assets (Santosus & Surmacz, 2001). This phenomenon includes social, geo-physical, economic and cultural conditions and also social network for transformational knowledge by decision makers, who collectively constitute the emergent network pattern for quality management changes and organizational outcome (Firestone & McElory, 2005). In the highly competitive and rapidly evolving organizations, Leadership and Knowledge Management focuses on identifying and addressing agency competencies so that the promotion of organizational achievement is ensured, knowledge is shared across the organizations and an environment of continuous learning is present. With these theoretical assumptions the present study aimed to find out the nature of relationship of knowledge management with transformational leadership among the middle managers of various IT companies of Kolkata. Accordingly, the data were collected from 100 purposively selected sample groups of IT professionals, working as middle managers by using three tools namely 1. General information schedule, 2. Knowledge Management Inventory (Banerjee & Ray, 2014), and 3. Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire 5X, Leader form (Avolio & Bass, 1995). The responses were treated for ANOVA, Correlation and Regression. The data based facts highlighted that 1. Moderate level of Knowledge Management is the general characteristic features of IT professionals of Kolkata working as middle managers, 2. The level of Knowledge Management is positively correlated with the selected attributes of transformational leadership, i.e., idealized influence (behaviour), inspirational motivation and intellectual stimulation. The quantitative analysis recommended some thrust areas for policy level issues and forms of economic interventions for management of optimum utilization of knowledge base of the IT professionals. Keywords

Reproductive health is a series of rapid and interconnected developmental processes and is determined by both personal and contextual characteristics. Some of the most marked developmental changes in adolescence are in reproductive healthsexual identity, capacity of sexual intimacy and reproductive potential, nutritional level, awareness of sexual decision making, risk assessment and seeking help and avoiding problems. With this background the present authors concentrated on reviewed facts on causes, consequences and management of psychosocial variables related to reproductive health. Accordingly the study concentrated on the review of literature covering the following themes: * Reproductive health(sexual and nutritional health) and interrelation pattern (parents and peers) * Reproductive health (sexual and nutritional health) and mental health(depression and mental health status) Summary of objective observation indicated the following factsthe type of attachment with parents and social interaction with peers determines the way in which they resolve questions about sexual values and morals. This is often accompanied by symptoms of elevated anxiety, depression related to sexual behaviour and feelings of hopelessness, despair and chronic sadness. Studies with adolescents in developing countries found that despair and suicidal behaviour are common in adolescent survivors of childhood sexual abuse or sexual violence and that adolescent marriage is a risk factor for depression in girls. The nutritional status especially deficiency of iron leading to anemia, vitamin A, riboflavin and calcium plagues adolescent holistic reproductive health development. Keywords

Demand – ability fit reflects the match between the person’s knowledge, skills and abilities and the individual’s job. While hundreds of specific traits have been studied in the context of person-environment (P-E) fit, the focus here is on the less frequently studied one’s namely, perfectionism. Perfectionism is defined as a striving to achieve excessively high standards while adopting stringent evaluations; it has been regarded both as an adoptive personality trait and a debilitating vulnerability factor (Blatt, 1995 & Pacht, 1984). With this rationale, the present study (i) firstly, aims at finding out the attributes of perfectionism (adaptive and maladaptive) among junior and senior executives working at public at private and public sector banks; (ii) secondly, to study the level of hardiness and coping strategy (functional and dysfunctional) among executives of banking sector with respect to their level of perfectionism (adaptive and maladaptive) and (iii) to find out the relationship among perfectionism and coping strategy, hardiness of executives. Sample includes 200 executives drawn from 6 public and private sector banks in Kolkata (India) using simple random sampling method. Primary data were collected using a standardized questionnaire and were analyzed using mean, t-test, Pearson’s product moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results indicated the following points:
- Senior and junior executives of private sector depicted different levels of perfectionism.
- Coping strategy (functional and dysfunctional) and hardiness vary with respect to the level of perfectionism of the executives.
- Adaptive perfectionism indicted the significant positive correlation with hardiness and functional coping style.
- Maladaptive perfectionism revealed the significant positive correlation with dysfunctional coping style and the reverse trend is evident in case of hardiness.
- Various coping strategies and hardiness in relation to adaptive and maladaptive perfectionism are discussed.
