Depression, Optimism-Pessimism Attitude and Psychological Well-Being In Adolescent Boys and Girls

The present study was conducted to explore the difference in Depression, Optimism-Pessimism Attitude and PsychologicaTWell-Being in Adolescent Boys and Girls. The sample comprised of 100 adolescents (50 boys & 50 girls) belonging to an age group of 16-18 years and studying in XI class trom CBSE affiliated schools of Rohtak and Sonepat districts. Results revealed that boys experienced more depression than girls. The respondents having pessimism had reported high depression and low psychological well-being than who had reported optimism.
