The non enzymic antioxidant activities in the leaves of Zeamays were identified in four different time periods of their growth namely 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th day after their sowing. The results showed that all the non enzymic antioxidants were found to increase with the age of the leaves. The hepatoprotective effect of Zeamays leaves were analyzed by using in vivo model and inferred that CCl4 induces the liver cirrohosis and it was controlled by Zeamays leaves extract group and Vitamin-E group .
