As we all are aware, we are witnessing increasingly shocking acts of violence these days from linguistic groups, terrorist attacks and individual crimes. And these are all manifestations of the violence within us. When human souls forget their true identity as 'spiritual beings' and begin to identify with their bodies, they come under the influence of vices and commit violence, because the soul is violating its true nature of peace, joy, love and power.- Creativity & Leadership:Some Reflections

Creativity, innovation and adaptability are the hallmarks of today's best leaders. Creativity has long been a focus of academics in fields ranging from anthropology to neuroscience and has enticed management scholars as well. What used to be an intellectual interest for some thoughtful executives has now become an urgent concern for many. The shift to a more innovation-driven economy has been abrupt. And today, execution capabilities are widely shared and the life cycles of new offerings are short. As competition became severe with survival of the fittest being the reigning mantra, pressure is mounting into a game of who can generate the best and greatest number of ideas.- Integrity & Relationships:Mantra for Success

We are in a highly competitive economy with international mantra being cost, quality & service for success of any company. But given the important role today’s managers play in getting outstanding performance from their associates, the responsibility of directing the associates in desired direction and inspiring & motivating them assumes added importance. Then naturally a question arises as to what is that a manager or leader needs to do to succeed in corporate life. In other words, are there any traits/qualities one must imbibe/inculcate to succeed in life? In my view two qualities are of paramount importance for someone’s success namely integrity & relationships. Let’s briefly look at them, their importance & how they hold a person in high esteem.References
