East Kameng district experiences different types of climate ranging from tropical climate and temperate climate in the areas. The temperate climate adjoining the Upper hill of area in the district. The areas of East Kameng experience hot and humid weather during summer seasons with an average temperature of 25-33°C, especially during the May to July. In other areas like Tajjo and Bameng, the climate is severely cold during the winter months and is pleasant during the summer.
