Managerial Effectiveness as a Strong Predictor of Organisational Effectiveness in Food Processing Industry

This study was designed to compare Organisational Effectiveness in public and private sector organisations in Food Processing Industry, to investigate the association between Managerial Effectiveness and Organisational Effectiveness and to look for a causal relationship in Managerial Effectiveness and Organisational Effectiveness. The scope of the study was Public and Private Sector Organisations belonging to Punjab and Haryana in Food Processing industry. The sample comprised of 196 respondents drawn from three Public Sector organisations, and six Private Sector organisations. The results revealed a very significant and positive correlation between two scales and their subscales. Managerial Effectiveness was found to be a strong predictor of Organisational Effectiveness.
