In this study we have isolated and purified lipopolysaccharide (LPS) from Ehrlich Ascites Carcinoma (EAC) cells to find its therapeutic efficacy. Each preparation was checked for homogeneity by ultra-violet spectroscopy, infra-red spectroscopy and biochemical estimations. The lipopolysaccharide thus obtained was used to observe the regression of Ehrlich Ascites Carcinoma grown in vivo. The efficacy of lipopolysaccharide was found to be dose dependent.
