Various factors (nature of surfactants, inorganic electrolyte addition, surfactant addition), determining the process of ionic surfactants adsorption at the aqueous solution-air interface are presented. Possibilities of application of the Butler-type isotherms of adsorption for describing these effects and predicting tbe surface properties of multicomponent solutions of ionic surfactants are also discussed.
