A Preliminary Survey of the Flora of Vyara Forests in South Gujarat

An enumeration of flowering plants, collected from the forests in vicinity of Mirpur, Chakdhara, Ambapani, Chinchbordi, Ubharat and Danti in Vyara forest range in December 1967 and September 1968 to March 1969, is given. In all about 470 plants have been wllected of which 380 are dicotyledons and 90 monocotyledons. An account of the general pattern of vegetation is also given.
