A Taxonomic Revision of Indian Panax Linn. (Araliaceae)

The genus Panax Linn. growing wild in India including Nepal, Bhutan and Sikkim is the subject of this Revision. Hitherto 2 species and 1 variety have been described in Indian Floras. The author has discovered 2 more species viz. P. sikkimensis Ban. and P. assamicus Ban. which he named and described with Latin diagnosis in the present paper.
