A Class of Exact Solutions of Einstein Equations in Higher Dimensional Space-Times

Einstein field equations in a D-dimensional space-time whose t=constant sections have the geometry of a (D-1)-spheroid, immersed in a Euclidean space of D-dimensions, are studied with energy-momentum tensor in the form of a perfect fluid as source term and an exact solution which represents D-dimensional generalisation, of the class of metrics for superdense star obtained by Vaidya and Tikekar, is reported.
