Remark on the Theory of Bending of Plates of Variable Thickness III

In this note we shall prove that for certain types of loading, the problem of bending and buckling of thin elastic rectangular plates of linearly varying stiffness admits very simple solutions, which are known from the theory of bending and buckling of bars and plates of constant thickness.
