A new bivariate plot has been devised for the differentiation of species of the mesosuchian crocodile Steneosaurus using various cranial parameters. The efficiency of this plot is highlighted and the affinity of newly discovered steneosaurians from Kachchh to Stelleosaurus durobrivensis is shown.
