As the first servant of The Association of Engineers, India I owe everybody, our members co-sponsors, well-wishers and friends, my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the shifting of the date of the Seventh All India Conference on Engineering Materials and Equipment to the 8th March, 1977. Although the situation in the country is tense with hectic activities for election to the Loksabha, the Association, in tune with its traditions left no stone unturned for the success of the Conference.
