Late in the year of 2011, I was assigned to work as the Acting Editor of the Journal of the Association of Engineers, India. I felt extremely honoured to receive the invitation to publish the Journal as the Acting Editor. The Association of Engineers, India is the First professional organization of engineers in India established way back in 1919 by the Nationalist Engineers of India as a part of struggle for freedom of the Motherland against the British rulers. After initial few years, the Journal of the Association of Engineers, India was brought out in the year of 1925. Subsequently, the journal got registered as a quarterly publication, and was assigned the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) of 0368-1106.
