Identify Metamorphics Reservoir Fracture Using Conventional Logging Data

Fractured reservoir evaluation is always an aporia of oil exploration and development. Hailaer Basin Beir Sag Budart Group reservoir is ancestral buried hill reservoir and its lithology is complex, it belongs to double pore reservoir. It is very difficult to evaluate the reservoir using conventional logging data. According to the study of the Hailaer Basin Budart Group reservoir, the paper summarizes the metamorphics identifing fracture methods using conventional logging data and supply a new method to logging evaluation of ancestral buried hill reservoir. Proposed four fracture indicating parameters and a comprehensive probability index to indicate fracture.
