Effect of Different Dietary Protein Intake on Urinary Creatinine Excretion in Adults

It has been reported by Folin that the daily excretion of creatinine is fairly constant at different ages, which can serve as an index of endogenous protein metabolism and is independent of dietary protein intake while these views were opposed by Fisher and Karambelkar et al Nakagawa et al have reported that wide variation occurred in total urinary creatinine excretion per day in animal kept on different dietary protein intake.
