Dear Members,

At the outset, I must congratulate members of the organizing Committee, NWS-2009-10 for successful conduction of a very prestigious event - National Welding Seminar held during 10-12th December,2009 at the Park Hotel in Kolkata .Around 300 delegates attended the Seminar and 78 technical papers were presented. Along with this mega event an Exhibition, “WELD INDIA-2009-10” was held at the Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata from 11-13 December, 2009 and large number of National and International Welding Product manufacturers participated in the Exhibition. Prior to the Seminar a two day Pre-conference Tutorial was also organized at the K P Basu Memorial Hall of Jadavpur University, Kolkata from 8-9th December, 2009 was attended by 58 candidates from all over the country.
