"Nanotechnology deals with natural and artificial structures on the nanometer scale, i.e.in the range from 1 μm down to 10 A. One nanometer, 1 nm = 10 ° −9m, is roughly the distance from one end to the other of a line of five neighboring atoms in an ordinary solid." In the nanometer scale if the size of a soccer ball(∼ 30 cm = 3 × 10−1m) is reduced 10.000 times we reach the width of a thin human hair(∼ 30 μm = 3 × 10−5m). If we reduce the size of the hair with the same factor, we reach the width of a carbon nanotube (∼ 3 nm = 3 × 10−9m). It is quite remarkable, and very exciting indeed, that we today have a technology that involves manipulation of the ultimate building blocks of that seep into many different markets. Nanotechnology has been applied to photo voltaic, MEMS and NEMS, molecular electronics data, ordinary matter: single atom sand molecules.- Neutrosophic Methods in General Relativity

Space and time are commonly regarded as the forms of existence of the real world and matter as its substance. A definite portion of matter occupies a definite part of space at definite moment of time. Now-a-day we have reached a point at which further progress can be greatly clarified and simplified by the introduction of a new concept of space and time and a corresponding mathematical technique ideally suitable for the theory of special relativity. The new concept is “NEUTROSOPHIC METHODS IN GENERAL RELATIVITY”. Due to rapid developments taking place in the field of theoretical Physics, the Space-time & theory of relativity and advance mathematics are-appearing in academic & Research institute for higher studies in Physics.

I read the article on the topic of Refurbishment of coating for corroded steel pipelines authored by Buddhadeb Deuri & Bimal Chaudhuri, issue March 2010, Vol 24(2) of Indian Science Cruiser It was highly enlightening & good practice relevant to all chemical plants related to maintenance work for corrosion protection of carbon steel pipelines. Basically the application of metallic coatings are various methods & category as per std./code & guidelines like IS, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc refer to user for proper quality control.

“Depleting conventional energy sources like coal, oil, gas, etc and their escalating costs, coupled with increasing pollution and carbon emission increasing “green house effect” have necessitated fresh search for atternatives. Due to supportive government policies at the state and federal levels, some due to the technology's steadily improving economics, and some due to electric utilities developing “green” policies for customers preferring nonpolluting sources solar energy is an extremely important energy source which is low cost, non pollutant and can infinitely improve the quality of life in rural areas and also provide employments.”

Welding Technology involves all the aspects of conservative metallurgical processing like melting. Casting heat treatment; but it is more complicated because it simultaneously involves in situ melting, solidification and structural changes in the solid state. Welding process parameters have a very significant influence on the micro structural aspects of the weldment. Certain situations can lead to the formation of welding defects which may not be acceptable. This necessitates the development of alloy compositions which are best suited for welding purposes, resulting in the concept of weld ability. Thus, welding process metallurgy is more complex and difficult to understand in its entirety by nonmetallurgists.

Conversely, natural gas, coal, and oil, at some time in history, were alternative energy sources. An alternative energy source is a non-depleting or renewable energy source, and, for many it is this quality that creates much of the appeal. The burning of refuse has met with some environmental concerns and strict regulations. Recycling of some refuse materials such as paper and plastics has given an alternative to burning.

This book describe about A-scan & B-scan ultrasonography of Eye. A-scan is an amplitude modulation scan. It gives the information in the form of one dimensional. This book tells about ultrasound biometry, commonly referred to as A-scan, which is routine type of diagnostic test used in ophthalmology. The most common use of the A-scan is to determine eye length for calculation of intraocular lens power. There are several different formulas are given in this book that can be used depending on the actual characteristics of the eye. The other major use of the A-scan is to determine the size and ultrasound characteristics of masses in the eye, in order to determine the type of mass. This is often termed quantitative A-scan.

This refers to the paper titled “Water treatment & purification methodology for habitable use”- authored by Dr. Soumya Mukherjee issue Vol- 25(5), Nov-2011 of Indian Science Cruiser. This is outstanding paper related to Water resources & quality control of water. Fresh water is required for peoples and other living things to sustain the life. As we encouraged folks to drink water, we learned that nearly a billion people on Earth don't have access to clean drinking water—that’s 1 out of every 8 people. In some parts of the developing world, that lack of clean drinking water is deadly.

Planets in orbit around other stars, other than the sun, have just begun to be discovered, in the past few years. So far, a few hundred have been discovered. We're only able right now to investigate the stars that are relatively near us, in our galaxy. Looking for planets in other galaxies is going to remain impossible for a long, long time. Consider that Pluto, right here in our own solar system, wasn't found until about 80 years ago. Also, consider that from our point of view on Earth, a giant planet in orbit around another star appears the size of something like a dime coin in Los Angeles as seen from New York ... and plus it's a dark body right next to a star!

This paper starts with a brief historic overview of remote sensing and Remote sensed imagery is integrated within a GIS. Geographic information system (GIS) is a computer-based tool for mapping and analyzing feature events on earth. GIS technology integrates common database operations, such as query and statistical analysis, with maps. GIS manages location-based information and provides tools for display and analysis of various statistics, including population characteristics, economic development opportunities, and vegetation types then explains the various stages in mapping land-use and cover. Agriculture and, soils mapping The basic principles of remotely sensed data collection mechanism is discussed in this paper.

Water pollution is a major problem associated with the developing countries. It severely affects the lives of people. There is an entire village in Karnataka that has been affected by excess of fluoride in the ground water. It causes deformities of the bone. In order to effectively control the pollution, the causes or the sources must be identified and understood.

Cell phones send signals to nearby towers via radio frequency waves, a form of energy similar to FM radio waves and microwaves. But the radiation produced by cellphones cannot directly damage DNA and differs from stronger types of radiation like X-rays or ultraviolet light, cellphone users are considering what they can do to protect themselves - but experts seem to be downplaying the risk.

Nickel is a chemical element with symbol Ni and atomic number 28. It is a silvery-white lustrous metal with a slight golden tinge. Nickel belongs to the transition metals and is hard and ductile. Ni is best suitable for modifications in temperatures, tools, pressures, rates, etc., wrought nickel is amenable to most of the fabrication processes used for mild steel. It can be hot-formed (forged, rolled, bent, extruded); cold-formed (sheared, punched, spun, deep drawn); machined with high-speed steel and carbide tools; and ground, polished and buffed.
