Interview with Preeti Desai, an Avid Mountain Trekker

In this issue we have two articles related to High Altitude Medicine. We explored the possibilityof getting first-hand information from someone who has done a Himalayan trek. We were fortunate to get in touch with Preeti Desai who is an enthusiastic and regular trekker in the Himalayas. In a free wheeling chat with Roda Dalal - Associate editor - The Indian Practitioner, she speaks of her interesting experiences which could be learning instances for aspiring trekkers. Preeti has also provided some interesting photographs of some of her treks.
