Lymphoma is common in patients with HIV/AIDS. High grade lymphomas are more common than in non-HIV population. Early diagnosis is important and may coexist with other opportunistic infections which also occur in this population. CNS lymphoma is more common and needs to be diagnosed early. CNS prophylaxis is needed in most of this patients, as they are high grade with stage IV disease. Concomitant HAART therapy is must and has improved the prognosis and reduced infections. Aggressive chemotherapy regimens should be used with antibacterial, antiviral and anti-pneumocystis prophylaxis. Rituximab has been used extensively. Opportunistic infections have to be monitored closely while using Rituximab. Stem cell transplantation has to be applied as in Non-HIV patients and there are atleast two large series of its use in HIV/AIDS population.
