Abstract

Microbial fuel cells (MFCs) are an evolving technology for simultaneous bio-energy recovery and organic removal; however, the lack of studies conducted with largescale MFCs, obstructs further development of this technology. This paper presents experimental result of Bulk-scale microbial fuel cell (BSMFC) operation where, we have built and operated a 4.9 L microbial fuel. BSMFCs so developed works on parallel stacked arrangement of brush anode with series cathode chamber which calibrates the maximum power delivery power up to 1.6 V across the load. However, except for the first phase of the whole experimental operation maximum power density is not maintained steadily. Its electricity generation & performance was examined. Moreover, we identified important issues for the failed attempt to continuously generate high power when MFCs are enlarged.

Abstract

The difficulty of working on quantum computing is the long-standing unsolved mystery in physics. The study presents the concept of quantization of electron can enable oneself to perform quantum computational operations. It is showed that the coexistence of basic single qubit or quantum bit state can be realized using selfquantized state of electrons in constant electric field&self force region of charge itself. Based upon the present work the first quantum computer is being building up at CRIAD laboratories which will be operational from September, 2013.

Abstract

Supercomputers were once a resource limited to major universities and government agencies with huge funds at their disposal. Thus, the high costs of commercial parallel computing hardware and software place them beyond the reach of the researcher & students of many colleges and universities. Today, low-cost commodity hardware, free operating systems such as Linux, and faster, lower cost networking make it possible for institutions at all levels to provide supercomputing resources to their researchers. The article summarize design & performance information of the High Performance Computing (HPC) Laboratory that is builted up in Shankrachariya College of Engineering & Technology department of applied physics.
