Environmental crisis has been a challenge for both artists and art-educators from the last century till now. "Trash" became the symbol or our consumption society. Super-production leads to super-consumption= supermarkets, and their negative effects on nature and natural resources. The report presents how the students learned about these problems through Art. It is an Art based program of Environmental Education, where students created some artworks made by "re-cycled" and "re-used" material. This program helped them to understand the real meaning of these words, in theory and practice, in order to "re-think" and "reduce"! They also learned how to express themselves through various forms of art (theater, writing, painting and sculpture). At the end, they organized a festival to expose the results of their artworks. Environmental Education through Art, gives the opportunity to the students and the teachers for renovator forms of activities. These activities may help them to realize the connection between art and sustainability. The report is also an investigation about what the students can do, if we want them to be creative and communicative. It is trying to give a different approach, of how they can overcome pessimism and apathy that is usually caused by the environmental problems.
