Mobile computing introduces new flexibility such as continuous access to computing resources while the users travel.This facility raises new challenges such as fault tolerance in distributed mobile computing system. In this paper we present a non blocking token ring based checkpointing algorithm to tolerate the faults in the mobile computing environment. It is a single phase algorithm neither having the overhead of temporary checkpoints nor using dependency vector; and also it avoids the avalanche effect. Results shows that it outperforms two-phase algorithms.

Communication has the main impact in mobile services now-a-days. There are so many ways of communication in mobile learning. One of the way and the effective way is communication through whatsapp. The communication of the users who are using whatsapp is efficient but still with certain flaws, these flaws can be enhanced by altering the interface and the architecture of whatsapp thus to enhance effective communication. In this paper the theory is about how to overcome one of the flaws that is, group video call conferencing in whatsapp. Thus on analyzing the features of whatsapp the place where it is lacking is the group video call conferencing. By analyzing the architecture pattern of IMO’s group video call conferencing, the same architectural pattern can be applied to achieve group video call on whatsapp application.Keywords
