Abstract
Describes the development, and the step-by-step procedure in constructing an indexing system based on natural language. "The index terms selected to characterise a document are kept as a unit to facilitate, searching either for the whole or a part of the file. The index words are selected from and marked in the abstracts of patent specifications which form the input. The index words are recorded on punched cards. ICT tabulator and Texoler sorter are used.
