Abstract
This paper attempts to discuss the computerized circulation control developed at I.I.T. Delhi. Discusses the master member, master circulation and inventory files required for automation of the system. Describes the data structure of each file. Explains, the procedure for updating these files like addition! deletion of records, reservation of books in demand. Also, explains how information, like books overdue from members, computation of overdue charges, generation of reminder, is generated from these files. Draws conclusion and highlights the limitations of the system.
