Information retrieval studies are embedded in the appplication of mathematical logic, descriptive linguistics, philosophy of language and logic, automata theory, Bayesian probability intelligence. It has led into a coherent theory of human communication. The cluster analysis, vector analysis and similarity matrix application have made experimental information retrieval an interesting study.
