The changed learning environment has necessitated formation of interactive networks for sharing, participation and collaboration. The Web 2.0 tools provide avenues in this regard. The present study aims to investigate the level of integration of these tools into the learning practices of the students of seven general universities in the state of Odisha in eastern India. A questionnaire-based survey was conducted among 1000 postgraduate students and research scholars segregated into four major disciplines, Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Pure Sciences, and Applied Sciences and Technology. The findings revealed that Web 2.0 awareness is high among the students of Applied Sciences and Technology as compared to the other disciplines. More than half of the students of theoretical sciences are unaware about popular tools like blogs. Because of the popularity of the tools like Wikipedia and Scribd as sources of academic content, most of the students are familiar with wiki and document sharing tools respectively. However, the use of these tools for learning has remained trivial among the students. Keywords

Purpose: In an intensely competitive and changing environment, innovation can be considered as a survival strategy. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of organization structure on innovation in business school libraries in India. Design/methodology/approach: The study focused on libraries of leading business schools, viz., IIMs,. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data for this study. The quantitative data were analyzed to test the hypothesis. Findings: The dimensions of organizational structure i.e., vertical complexity, employee participation and organizational complexity are positively related to innovation and have higher OS influence in innovation among business school libraries. On the other hand, increase in formalization, the degree of centralization and strict adherence to pre-defined roles and rigid rules in the organization are negatively related to innovation. Research Limitations: The study is limited to libraries of Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) India. Thus, other scientific and technical libraries are not in the ambit of this study. Originality/value: In India, there is no study conducted in academic management libraries. This study can be used as a guide for library administrators to accomplish the objectives of the organization by enabling innovation in the context of organizational structure. Keywords

Effective organization, discovery, and retrieval of resources have always been essential functions for any library. Libraries have implemented various new information systems along with traditional library systems such as federated search, web-scale discovery, next-generation catalogue, etc. Faceted navigation, known as faceted search, faceted browsing, or guided navigation, has been applied in many e-commerce sites and dominates features in the interaction paradigm. Faceted approach to knowledge organization in searching and navigation features in the online catalogue supports users in finding the information needed in the most effective and efficient manner. This paper discusses feceted searching and navigation application in library online public access catalogues(OPAC).Keywords
