The book titled, “Charity to Parity – New Dimensions to NGO Management” showcases the principles of management through the examples from the successful story of an Non Government Organization (NGO) which has its presence in India over last six decades. It is very difficult yet necessary for an organization to reinvent itself with the changing requirement of the time to sustain in this competitive era. The organization which fails to be adaptable to this changing scenario dies a premature death. The book describes success story of ‘Blind People’s Association’ (BPA)—a renowned NGO based in Ahmedabad for differently abled people especially in the field Blindness. It very well depicts how this decades old NGO reinvented itself with the changing time and has strengthened its ischolar_mains. The book is divided into three parts: Part-I describes the journey of BPA, Part-II mentions the people who played crucial role in establishment of BPA, Part-III describes the challenges and recommendation that have been listed by the author of the book on the basis of the research conducted.
