The present paper deals with 25 plant species belonging to 24 genera and 18 families used to cure jaundice by the tribal of East Godavari district. Euphorbiaceae is the dominant family followed by Acanthaceae and Solanaceae. Of the 25 practices 9 were found to be new.Keywords
