The present focus of Higher Education in India is on inclusiveness, quality, relevance and academic reform. Some of the important requirements for enhancing the efficiency on these parameters are-redesign of curricula, improved delivery of instruction and change in assessment and evaluation. This paper explores the new teaching model-Blended learning-to examine its relevance and applicability in the colleges and universities of India.Keywords
