Lysimeter experiment was carried out to analyze the leaf morphology and photosynthesis parameters of flue cured tobacco plant treated by effective microorganisms (EM) and two different rates of Bio organic (BOF) fertilizers. Treatments were set in randomized complete block design with one control treatment set as check and 3 replications for each. The outcomes showed a significant increase of leaf length and width per plant for treatment T2 (higher rate of BOF and EM at 500 BOF kg hm-2 and 7500 EM L/hm-2) than the control and other treatments. Moreover, treatment T2 significantly enhanced the flue cured tobacco leaf area and effectively improved the flue cured tobacco crop growth rate. Furthermore, treatment T2 showed noteworthy increase of photosynthesis parameters at lower leaf position compared to others. The study highlighted T2 (500 BOF kg hm-2 and 7500 EM L/hm-2) as the most effective treatment in enhancing flue cured tobacco leaf morphology, photosynthesis parameters and crop growth rate leading to an improved flue cured tobacco yield and quality. This suggested that BOF and EM at 500 BOF kg hm-2 and 7500 EM L/hm-2 could improve crops yield and quality resulting in a fulfillment of a sustainable agriculture which is a major focus nowadays.Keywords
