In this paper utilization of metaheuristic methods such as genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization for determining design parameters of pin fin type heat sinks through minimizing generated entropy is discussed. This paper follows recent studies on entropy generation minimization of plate type heat sinks by evolutionary optimization methods.Keywords
