The sulfur mustard (SM) vapor sensitive property of polyepichlorohydrin (PECH) polymer coating was investigated by using quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) sensor. The measurements were based on the frequency shifts (Hz) due to the sorption of SM vapor in the polymer coating of the modified QCM. The response of QCM sensor was found to be about 410 Hz for SM vapors. The influences of coating thickness and temperature on the sensor response were examined. The sensor showed optimum response and reversibility at 4 KHz of coating thickness and lower temperature. The relevant detection parameters like sensitivity, reversibility and reproducibility were evaluated for SM detection. Keywords

Objective: The ocean resources and scientific related research is an attractive research topic. To witness a significant development of an intelligent robotic underwater work system, it is necessary to present various technological advancements in this area in form of technical review. Methods/Statistical Analysis: In this direction, authors provide a comprehensive assessment of recent developments of underwater robots and their various control strategies. This review highlights the different control techniques of underwater robots, which have been investigated for overall control of underwater robots. These controls include motion control, trajectory control of end-effect or for the underwater robot manipulators, thrust control and force control. Finding: Various control strategies have been developed and employed by researchers such as adaptive control, PID control, Sliding Mode Control (SMC), robust/optimal control, and robust overwhelming control. The literature survey has further emphasized the use of such controllers for motion, thrust and force control in underwater robotic conditions. Application: This article will be beneficial for researchers in this area to understand various applications of underwater robots. Another focus of this paper is to provide a candid commentary on modeling and simulation techniques adopted by various researchers in the area of underwater robots. Keywords

Objectives: To make an extensive survey on various meta-heuristic and hybrid task scheduling along with their classification patterns and to find the scope of improvement in these techniques. Method: This paper carries to the deep study of 99 reputed research papers from Springer, IEEE, Elsevier, Scopus indexed; SCI indexed of well-known renowned journals. These research papers are selected by taking into consideration of relevance to research area. These scheduling algorithms are compared in terms of their performance metrics, environments and results. Findings: This paper described that there are various renowned researchers who have proposed various meta-heuristic task scheduling techniques to achieve the optimum results but after the extensive survey of various scheduling techniques based on genetic, Simulated Annealing (SA), ACO, PSO and hybrid reveals that a lot of dimensions are yet to be explored in terms of datacenter cost, virtual machine migration, energy consumption and Service-Level Agreement etc. Application: It discusses numerous meta-heuristic based task scheduling algorithms with their classification patterns so as to find the gap in the already proposed algorithm and suggest the untouched areas for the further research. Keywords
