As globalization is accelerating, companies are making great efforts to grow. Thus, many companies are trying to make innovations, and their interest in patent, the result of innovations, is also increasing. Thus, this study tried to examine cases that companies registered study results from innovations as patents, and activities that they are doing with obtained patents. And because when patent disputes occur, companies come to devise various measures, this study tried to examine those measures through an empirical analysis. As a result of the analysis, activities performed with obtained patents turned out to be patent barrier establishment, manufacturing, cross licensing, technology transfer, and royalties through licenses, in order. Coping measures in case of patent litigation turned out to be a counter-suit, patent invalidation suit, cross licensing, suit through solidarity with other firms, and patent right fee payment, in order.Keywords

As recognition and value on big data has become significant, companies, public institutions, intelligence agencies have started to have interest on big data. Of course, there were analytic techniques based on data in past as well, but data was limited and analysis also limited. However nowadays, interest on structured data due to social media and unstructured data has started to increase that interest on big data analysis is rising. This paper systematically analyzes behavior of internet shopping mall users through big data analysis and proposes a strategic operation plan using this analysis.Keywords

Recently, the value of big data is being considered important. Also, the government, public institutions and private enterprises began to be interested in big data. Now, data has a lot of values, unlike the past. With the emergence of various planning and analysis techniques which are based on this data, big data is being established as a foundation for new high-level information creation and decision making advancement. This study aims to find an alternative for illegal parking using this big data. For achieving this purpose, this study attempted an approach to the plan to improve illegal parking using public data of Goyang City. In this study, public data of Goyang City was analyzed using open source R. Based on the analysis result, this study presented an alternative to improve illegal parking by installing CCTVs in Deogyang-gu, Goyang City.Keywords

Recently, the increasing demand of information security consulting and securing workforce for information security consulting companies have emerged as major pending issues especially with the expansion information and communication infrastructures and the increase of instances of personal information leakage. This research aims to provide guidelines for successful information security consulting and training of information security consultants by looking into the core competencies of information security consultants and how much one possesses each competence. Thirty-five competency models were constructed by exploring previous researches, interviewing the experts in the field of information security consulting, and surveying information security consultants on the required and retention level of each competence. The results of the present research can provide useful information in improving the quality of information security consulting services by understanding the differences between required and retention level of competencies among information security consultants.Keywords
