Abstract

Objectives: A new method of cluster head election based on Energy Evaluation Factor (EEF) using multi-packet reception technology is proposed in clustering the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) to improve the performance and makes the network efficient and increases lifespan of the network. Methods: First EEF is calculated initially for clustering the WSN, the transmission power ranges of the CH elected in each group is calculated and adjusted considering the count of Cluster Head (CH) in elected in the area of interest as second, and thirdly we determine the distance from the sink to CH and its residual energy to implement interference cancellation algorithm in sink using transmission power levels. Findings: Simulation results show that this power control strategy can reduce the energy consumption of sensor nodes and increase network throughput, which can greatly improve network lifetime. Improvements: The authors believe that their findings will be useful guidelines for moving forward with successive interference cancellation research in WSNs.

Abstract

Objective: Computational infrastructure of medical biotechnology provides insight into elements of genomics, proteomics for understanding diseases and biological systems in a more comprehensive and systematic way. The present study exclusively focuses on role of computational and bioinformatics tools employed in troubleshooting heterogeneous data of biology origin. Method and Analysis: Methodology adopted for study included analysis of online literature through Google Scholar, Pub-med, and Science Direct by searching with comprehensive input like computational tools, biotechnology, proteomics, genomics, drug design and discovery, metagenomics to include all relevant research/review articles within period from 1980 to 2016. Collection, inclusion and exclusion of published articles, review and reports were critically assessed and discussed within line of available databases. Furthermore, bibliography of relevant research articles was taken into consideration. Findings: Major conventional biological databases i.e., National Centre for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and its subset PubMed, not only provide and exchange biological sequence information but also allow comprehensive analysis for sequence alignment and comparisons to find out disease biomarkers like Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs). Likewise, other computational tools and servers are developed to be specific for organism, disease, biological pathway, microbial resistance and drug design. Use of currently available computational techniques provides rapid cross-reference search with higher accession of the sequences with statistical approach. However, a significant challenge in this field is to organize and provide user access, readability and skill sets to heterogeneous data repositories like databases and web servers as well as to keep data privacy. These temporal processes significantly enhanced the vision and understanding about cryptic biological processes. Novelty/Improvement: Present study exclusively targets computational tools employed in deciphering complex biological systems through use of algorithms and software which made available large data repositories in public domain. Current study will enhance and compile amalgam of computational and bioinformatics pipelines engaged in vast perspectives of basic and applied biology.

Abstract

Objectives: To study the review of Amplify and Forward bidirectional relaying with channel estimation error and cochannel interference. Methods/Statistical analysis: This research approach is based on detailed study and analysis of two way relaying network with Amplify and Forward technique. Amplify and forward technique is preferred over decode and forward technique because it is simpler than decode and forward technique as it does not include the complex procedure of encoding and decoding process. it also includes the performance of two way relaying network or we can say bidirectional network with relay selection scheme and all relay participating case under the effect of Co-Channel Interference (CCI) and Channel Estimation Error (CEE) .Comparison between one way relaying and two way relaying is also included in this paper. Findings: Wireless communication suffers from various problems like CCI and CEE. Previous research work on bidirectional relaying networks doesn’t include the effect of CC1 and CEE, but in practical, these errors exists so it is important to study the effect of these problems in our wireless communication networks. This research includes the complete survey of amplify and forward technique with one way relaying channel and two way relaying channel. It is also shown that performance of relay selection case is not always better than all relay participating case for two way relaying network. Cooperative communication is an efficient technique to deal with these types of problems by offering significant multiplexing and diversity gains without increasing power and bandwidth. Two way relaying helps to improve the overall system performance in wireless networks. Cooperative communications also deals with the various problems like fading and shadowing with the help of two way relaying. It has been proved that two way relaying is spectrally efficient technique which provides a way to surmount half duplexing loss in one way relay channel. Application/Improvements: Wireless Communication has gained a lot of interest nowadays. Our future generation requires higher data rates and a more suitable transmission with a adequate quality of service. Two Way Relaying techniques is an efficient technique to fulfill these demands with less interference.
