A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a type of Wireless Network in which there is no centralized control and and it has dynamic topology. The main concept of this paper is based on use of intelligent techniques like Evolutionary Algorithms and Analytical Hierarchy Process for Mobile ad hoc networks routing techniques which can be used for modeling an optimized routing scheme for mobile ad hoc networks. A brief overview and tabular comparisons of existing routing protocols is given which is compared with a protocol based on multi objective decision criteria. A new secured optimized routing scheme based on Evolutionary Techniques and Analytical Hierarchy Process is introduced in this paper and encryption techniques are also employed to make the route secure. Keywords

This paper deals with duty cycle control for baby incubator, the variables are temperature and humidity. Fuzzy logic provides a robust inference mechanism with no learning and adaptability. The result obtained shows that the fuzzy logic control is a digital control technique for non linear applications and it offers a very fast and accurate control. Further it is observed that chattering is removed as the 'on' time with fuzzy logic control remains nearly constant. Further, the disadvantage of manual control, relay control and other conventional control techniques have been removed in fuzzy logic based duty cycle control. Keywords

The Viterbi algorithm is a dynamic programming algorithm for finding the most likely sequence of hidden states called the Viterbi path that results in a sequence of observed events, especially in the context of Markov models. In this research paper, SOVA has been implemented. The soft output Viterbi algorithm (SOVA) is a variant of the classical Viterbi algorithm. SOVA differs from the classical Viterbi algorithm in that it uses a modified path metric which takes into account the a priori probabilities of the input symbols, and produces a soft output indicating the reliability of the decision. Simulation results give the performance of this algorithm. Keywords

The main objective of the experimental shell and tube heat exchanger presented in this paper is to control the temperature of outgoing fluid to a desired set point despite of different disturbances. The entire heat exchanger system is modeled using experimental data and a single-input, single-output transfer function model of the system is developed. Conventional controllers were designed for different control loops. Feedback and feed forward control loops were implemented to achieve the control objective. Soft computing approach was also implemented in the controller design methodology to give a requisite intelligence to the controller. A fuzzy-logic controller was designed and implemented in the process. A comparative study of different controller has been shown in this paper. Keywords
