The present study examines the level of stress and the coping strategies among nursing students. The sample was comprised of 180 nursing students in various hostels selected by a stratified random sampling. A socio - demographic questionnaire was used to identify students for the sample under study. Perceptions of Stressful Scale (PSS) by Cohen, (1983) and Coping Inventory for Stressful Situation (CISS) by Endler and Parker, (1999) were used to assess level of stress and coping strategies among selected nursing students. Descriptive statistics, item-total coefficients of correlation and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. Mean and SD of stress measure for male (M = 19.844, SD = 5.452), for female (M = 21.478, SD = 7.438), and for the whole sample (M = 20.661, SD = 6.555). And, Mean and SD of task-oriented coping for male (M = 51.511, SD = 8.162) for female (M = 49.889, SD =7.646) and for the whole sample (M = 50.700 , SD = 7.928), emotion-oriented coping for male (M = 44.922, SD = 9.043) for female (M = 44.533, SD = 7.333) and for the whole sample (M = 44.728, SD = 8.212) as well as avoidance-oriented coping for male (M = 46.656, SD = 7.961) for female (M = 48.289, SD = 7.235) and for the whole sample (M = 47.472, SD = 7.629) measures of coping strategies. The reliability indices of stress measure for male (SH = 0.769,), for female (SH = 0.870), and for the whole sample (SH = 0.837). And task-oriented coping for male (SH = 0.791) for female (SH = 0.708) and for the whole sample (SH = 0.710), emotion-oriented coping for male (SH = 0.729) for female (SH = 0.894) and for the whole sample (SH = 0.678), as well as avoidance-oriented coping for male (SH = 0.745) for female (SH = 0.603) and for the whole sample (SH = 0.660) measures of coping strategies emerged to be robust, and that the task-oriented coping, emotion-oriented coping and avoidance-oriented coping emerged to be an independent over the levels of analysis (for male, for female and for the whole sample).Keywords

Mean and SD of stress measure for nurses(M = 21.478,SD = 7.438), and, Mean and SD of task-oriented coping for nurses (M = 49.888, SD = 7.645), emotion-oriented coping for nurses (M = 44.533, SD = 7.333) as well as avoidance-oriented coping for nurses (M = 48.888, SD = 7.234) measures of coping strategies. The reliability indices of stress measure for nurses (SH = 0.829), and task-oriented coping for nurses (SH = 0.708), emotion-oriented coping for nurses (SH = 0.611), as well as avoidance-oriented coping for nurses (SH = 0.567) measures of coping strategies emerged to be robust, and that the task-oriented coping, emotion-oriented coping and avoidance-oriented coping emerged to be an independent over the levels of analysis(for nurses).Keywords

Traditional lecture style of teaching is the most common and popular in higher education courses across the world even in 21st century. Students and teachers both are familiar with the traditional lecture method and are generally comfortable with this syle. In the technology driven knowledge economy, innovative learning approaches are being introduced. This has evolved new system of teaching and learning in education such as flipped classroom system where the pre-learning materials like online audio, video and readings are shared in advance. Students prepare themselves using these materials prior to coming to the class thus in the class time, they can participate in discussions, hands on application, problem solving through games and other engaging and collaborating activities. In this type of setup, the role of the teacher/instructor changes from deliverer of contents to guiding students through a series of engaging and experiential-learning activities. During the course, students learn how to find answers for questions, they participate in group learning, problem solving thus develop analytical skills. The present research attempts to understand the student’s perspective regarding flipped classrooms. Students being an important stakeholder, this research considers their perspections as the crucial element. This study is conducted amongst students studying in management colleges located in the National Capital Region (NCR) with a sample size of 211 respondents.Keywords

Brand Positioning as the act of designing the company’s offer so that it occupies a distinct and valued place in the mind of the target customers. Brand Positioning is the process of promoting buyers to form a particular mental impression of our product relative to our competitors. Brand Positioning is a ‘part of brand identity and value proposition that is to be actively communicated to the target audience, and that demonstrates an advantage over competing brands. A brand could develop distinction in a chosen field by developing associations related to product performance. It focuses on the brand’s delivery on the functionality expected by customers. The brand could develop associations on the intrinsic product dimensions like durability, reliability, price, style or service. This research paper focuses on the need of brand positioning of automotive lubricant in Indian market. This study represents an approach of factor analysis to determine the effect of brand positioning of lubricant on consumer perception. An empirical study has been conducted in Delhi region to find out the perceptions of consumers towards the automotive lubricants. Survey has been conducted with the help of structured questionnaire to determine the different attributes responsible for brand positioning lubricant oil. Factor analysis has been done to reduce the number of factors and identifying only the important factors for brand positioning of automotive lubricant for four wheeler segments. Further, reliability test has been conducted to test the reliability of the important factors.Keywords

Autism Spectrum Disorder is a complex syndrome that consists of a set of developmental and behavioral features. Not only children with Autism face different challenges in the family as well as society but it also challenges the people in the background such as parents and family members. Autism affects 18 million people in India and raising awareness can help patients overcome stigma and improve the daily routines for the people with ASD as well as the relationships around them. This article focuses on the possible interventions for Autism and strategies on how to better control sensory and perceptual problems. This also serves as a guide to parents on how to tackle kids with ASD and simultaneously not losing a focus on themselves as well. The main areas of concern in ASD are communication, social interaction and sensory integration so the interventions are also focused on these areas such as Hanen Program, Floortime Model and Individualized Education Program (EIP). Autism is spoken of generally as a jigsaw with a missing piece, instead, it is a bucket full of several different jigsaws in it (Chapter 1-ABucket Full of Jigsaws, Autism an inside out approach.) Figuring out the different pieces of the jigsaw and making sense out of them is the main task while handling ASD.Keywords
