Present study was carried out on 60 first-year MBBS students who were assigned into two groupsyoga group (Group 1) and physical exercise group (Group 2) (30 each). Group 1 underwent yoga practices and Group 2 underwent exercise on bicycle ergometer for 40 minutes daily for twelve weeks. Formative examinations were conducted at 6 weeks (stressor 1) and 12 weeks (stressor 2). Following recordings were taken at baseline, stressor 1 and 2: Auditory (ART)&Visual reaction time (VRT), Handgrip strength endurance (HGE), Speilberger's State anxiety inventory for adults (STAIA) and inventories developed by Defense Institute for Physiology&Applied Sciences (DIPAS). In our study, it was observed that there was significant decrease in STAI-A scores in Group 1 subjects at both stressors (p < 0.001) with no change seen in Group 2 subjects. There was significant decrease in trait anxiety and depression scores at both stressors in both the groups. However, significant reduction in depression from stressor 1 to 2 occurred in only group 1 subjects. There was significant improvement in sense of wellbeing at both stressors 1 and 2 (p < 0.001) in Group 1 subjects whereas significant improvement occurred in Group 2 subjects only at stressor 2 (p<0.01). There was improvement in HGE in both groups at both stressors with more improvement from stressor 1 to 2 in Group 2 subjects. Also, there was significant reduction in ART in only Group 1 subjects (p <0.05) at stressor 2 with no change in Group 2 subjects. Our study demonstrates that both forms of intervention i.e. yoga training and physical exercises are beneficial for the subjects in reducing the effect of examination stress but the effect of effect of yoga is immediate and more pronounced on all parameters except HGE.Keywords

Sahaj yoga meditation practice is already known to reduce stress, enhance parasympatho-dominance, alpha rhythm in the brain and change biochemical parameters favourably in healthy subjects and is also beneficial as an adjunct in psycho-somatic disorders. The presented randomized control study was carried out on 30 healthy subjects (19 Males and 11 females) in the age group of 18 to 45 years. Subjects were randomly divided into two groups: Group 1: (9 Males&6 Females) Healthy subjects who practised Sahaj Yoga meditation. Group 2: (10 Males&5 Females) Healthy subjects who did not practise Sahaj Yoga. Training of Sahaj yoga was conducted under the supervision of trained Sahaj Yogi for the period of 8 weeks. Cognitive test battery was administered to all the subjects both before and after the study period.
The observed data was statistically analyzed using Student's t test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Mann- Whitney U test. The results after 8 weeks showed that Group 1 subjects showed marked improvement only in the Letter cancellation test (time) (p< 0.01), number of Omissions (p<0.01) and Trail making test 'A' (p< 0.01) while no appreciable change was observed in Group 2. There was no significant improvement on rest of the tested parameters in subjects of group 1 and 2.The present study demonstrated that Sahaj Yoga practice by healthy subjects leads to improvement in attention span, concentration, visuo-motor speed but with no improvement in executive functions.

Spectral resources are to be divided among the users in order to maximize total user utility. A new scheme for packet transmission in various traffic patterns has been developed by introducing a bandwidth based Round Robin scheduler. Our scheduling algorithm has the abilities of reducing frame lengths and rounds. There is no packet drop in our implementation. User favors application service with a higher percentage of bandwidth in order to provide QoS. Our scheduling has reduced the inter transmission time of packets from the same stream. We define a stream to be the traffic that comes from a particular source destinated to the output router. The starvation of lower priority class data has been avoided. It reduces burst generation at the output port from the same traffic stream. The streams fairness has been ensured. The performance of this scheduler has been shown by comparing with Output Controlled Round Robin algorithm in terms of transmission rate, jitter, bandwidth, scheduling and latency.

The embedded hardware plays a vital role in the implementations of many cryptographic applications to increase the security with reduced area consumption. The applications based on data communication demands the encryption process for sensitive data transmission from one end to the other end. The software implementation of security algorithms is easy to implement but it lags in its execution speed and performance. Therefore, the hardware implementations are considered to be a good alternative, since they provide additive performance along with low power consumption and less memory. The tiny encryption algorithm TEA is one of the fastest and efficient cryptographic algorithms, which is well suited for many such real time data communications that requires moderate security. An extended tiny encryption algorithm XTEA is a corrected form of TEA which resolves the drawbacks of TEA in real time implementation such as related key and plain text attacks. This paper discusses and analyzes the hardware implementation of XTEA with TEA in FPGA to overcome the above drawbacks associated with it.Keywords

Anomalous transactions are common activity happening on the financial oriented transaction. Detecting those anomalous transactions from the financial transaction patterns is the most complex task which is focused in this work. In the existing work it is achieved by introducing the method namely Fuzzy Exception and Fuzzy Anomalous Rule (FEFAR). The accuracy of this existing work FEFAR found to be lesser which is resolved in the proposed research work. There are two research works has been proposed those are namely Rule Pruning based Anomalous Rule Detection Strategy (RPARD) and Lasso Regression based Improved Anomalous Detection Scheme (LR-IADS). Both of these methods attempt to find the anomalous transaction from the given input database by finding the anomalous rules. Each method differ in its methodologies, thus the accuracy of the methods would differ. The main goal of this analysis work is to compare the performance of existing and proposed methodologies based on simulation outcome. This research work aims to highlight the performance variation between the proposed and existing techniques and the best method that can offer accurate anomalous transaction detection. The analysis of the research work is carried out on matlab environment over four databases namely soil, bank, german statlog and auto mpg based on which performance outcome has been given.Keywords

The development of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircrafts has been increasing in recent years due to growing demands in various sectors for critical missions and time saving purpose. There are number of configurations exist for VTOL airframe such as single-main-rotor, tandem rotor, coaxial rotor, tri-rotor, quad-rotor and hexa-rotor. Among various configurations quad-rotor and hexa-rotor configurations have been chosen frequently for various applications through miniature aircrafts. The components and subsystems of such configurations have been widely available for easy integration and flight tests. In addition to that, classical control methods such as proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers have been widely employed for better control of such aircrafts with stable operation. Even though the control methods are available with high performance flight controller boards, the attainment of quicker attitude response and better stability will be a major problem during the flight testing phase for quadcopters and hexacopters. Therefore, instead of directly going into the development of quadcopters, there should be a need for simulating their responses with models of actual configuration. In this paper, a quadcopter dynamics for roll, pitch, and yaw have been modelled as mathematical equations and its response have been simulated in MATLAB using classical control tools. The results have shown that the modelled dynamics respond faster with better stability.Keywords

Background: Trismus is un controlled inability to open the mouth or jaw. It interferes with mainly daily activities chewing, swallowing and talking, brushing teeth. It can be improve by the transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and increased full jaw function. Aim: To find out the therapeutic effects of conventional mode TENS in pain reduction and increased range of motion among Trismus patients with limited mouth opening. Methodology: A convenient sample of subjects was solicited from Saveetha medical college and hospital and the subjects were divided into two groups. Group-1(control group) who were diagnosed with restricted mouth opening due to trismus were given active jaw exercises. Group-2(experimental group) with restricted mouth opening were subjected to conventional mode TENS for 20 minutes and they were given active jaw exercises before and after the application of the modality. Post-test NPRS and functional outcome were taken and documented for statistical analysis. Outcome measures: Numerical pain rating scale for jaw pain, A regular ruler for measuring the inter-incise distance. Results: Statistical analysis was done to identify the difference between pre and post test measurements by paired t test analysis. The two tailed p-value is less than 0.0001 by conventional criteria, this difference is considered to be extremely statistically significant. Conclusion: It was recognised that trismus patients were initially undergoing an increased rate of difficulty in jaw opening but after a two week exercise and conventional mode TENS application there was an appreciable increase in their mouth opening and alleviation of pain.Keywords

Aim: To find the effect of a combined exercise intervention namely Brandt-Daroff exercise (BDE) combined with Cawthorne Cooksey exercises (CCE) for treatment of vertigo among posterior canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) subjects. Materials and methods: A total of 20 male and female subjects in the age group of 25-45 years were included if they were diagnosed with posterior canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The recruited subjects were randomly divided into two groups. Group A (Experimental group) n=10 subjects received both BDE and CCE and Group B (Control group) n=10 subjects received only BDE. Results: The statistical analysis shows that both groups have significant improvement in their symptoms. Group A has greater improvement than Group B which is statistically significant. Conclusion: This study concludes that addition of Cawthorne -Cooksey habituation exercises along with Brandt-Daroff exercises is more effective in treatment of vertigo among posterior canal BPPV subjects.Keywords

Due to the current structure of digital factory, it is necessary to build the smart factory to upgrade the manufacturing industry. This paper provides brief review on Smart factory and its implementation on traditional factory. They adopt the combination of physical technology and cyber technology and deeply integrate previously independent discrete systems making the involved technologies more complex and precise than they are now. Furthermore, a hierarchical architecture of the smart factory was proposed first, and then the key technologies were analyzed from the aspects of the physical resource layer, the network layer, and the data application layer. We have discussed the various features of the Smart Factory through an factory experts and example from the already existed smart factory. The Smart Factory architecture serves as solution pattern for the conception of modern production plants, which are characterized by mechatronic changeability, individualized mass production and internal and external networking. In addition, we discussed the major issues and potential solutions to key emerging technologies, such as Internet of Things (IoT), big data, and cloud computing, which are embedded in the manufacturing process. Finally, we discuss the main limitation of the Smart factory and its ongoing research towards overcoming the limitations toward the future.Keywords
